ROE has once again made a major investment in digital
technology. To facilitate an efficient and predictable means of producing
models from digital scans, we purchased two of the finest model-printers available.
With this equipment we are n
o longer inhibited by the delay times of
model-producing companies and delivery services. Production is more streamlined
and model-fabrication is now a ROE controlled process.
Doctors who are investing in digital
impressions may be interested in model-free dentistry. This is possible for
many posterior cases. However, to fabricate a veneer, bridge, layered crown,
lower partial denture, or bite splint, it is still necessary to work from a
physical model.
